About Us

Who we are

Skincare Split is an independent Korean skincare sample shop based in Vancouver, Canada. We buy genuine K-beauty products at retail, the same bottles you would, and hand-decant them into small, honest sample sizes. Because the worst part of skincare isn't the routine: it's spending $30 to find out your skin disagrees.

We're not affiliated with any of the brands we sample. We're just people who got tired of drawers full of almost-empty regrets, and built the store we wished existed.

Thank you for letting us be part of your skincare journey.

What we stand for

Try before you commit. Every product we stock can be tested for a few dollars before you buy a full bottle. That's the entire idea.

Honesty over hype. Full ingredient lists on every product, real talk about what suits which skin, no fake sales, no miracle claims. Our skin quiz recommends from ingredient data, not from what we'd like to sell you.

Care in the details. Samples are decanted in small batches into clean containers, sealed for transit, and packed so glass never meets glass.

Note from founder

When I started Skincare Split, I imagined the store I couldn't find anywhere:

  • Where you could try the products everyone talks about without gambling a full-size price on each one;
  • Where a complete 5-step Korean routine costs less to test than one full-size serum;
  • Where the ingredient list is always right there, because skin is personal;
  • And where shopping feels like getting honest advice from a friend who's already tried everything.

We hope that's what you find here. And we're only getting started: we'll be consistently adding new products over time, so be sure to check back to see what's new. If there's a product you'd love to see us sample, send your request to contact@skincaresplit.com. We read every one.

Thank you for being here at the start. If a sample helps you find the product your skin loves, that's the whole point.

Many thanks,
Brian — Founder
